Suldan PAPER THINGY MAJIGY
as a Muslim young black male i think it very hard to cope in a mainly white christian dominated country. Personally i know their are people in this society who have it worse than me, like women.but i will not expel the fact that the society i live in has many temptations and many barriers. for one instance, many of the American "norms" like listening to music and going to clubs is prohibited from my religion. am I constantly tempted? Of course who wouldn't be, but with the help of my parents and Allah i can control myself from stopping most of the things. The next thing that comes is the culture. I come from Somalia, an east African country. Somalia has many fascinating values, and traditions. yet with America being the Great Melting Pot, it is not only hard to mix with other cultures, it is even harder about not forgetting your own culture.
